Day 01  Bangalore  
Arrive Bangalore, the garden city of India.  On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel to relax.

Glass House (built on the lines of London's Crystal Palace) covers 18000sq feet, Vidhana Soudha - built in 1954 in granite, this massive building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat. Bull Temple-Dravidian-style temple, has a huge monolithic Bull is the vahana of Lord Shiva. Tipu’s summer Palace, and shopping at Arts & Crafts Centre Emporium at M.G.Road.  Overnight at Bangalore. 

 

Day 02   Bangalore / Nagarhole
After breakfast, checkout and proceed to Kabini River lodge (5 hrs / 220 Kms). Situated in Karapur (southern Part of Nagarahole National Park) is the old hunting lodge of the Maharaja and Viceroy's. The lodge is located on the bank's of the river Kabini for bird watching. A naturalist guide helps you identify the many varieties of birds and wild beasts. Check in on arrival and proceed for lunch. Tea at 1545hrs and proceed for wildlife tour at 1600hrs to Nagarahole National Park. Return to camp at 1845hrs & at 1900hrs-watch wildlife film.  Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 03   Nagarhole / Mysore
Morning after coffee / tea proceed to wildlife sanctuary for coracle (local boat) and elephant ride (subject to availability of elephant). Wildlife Safari and return to camp at 09.30hrs. boat ride.  Later check-out and drive to Mysore (2 hrs / 80 kms), Visit the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911-12. The palace is of harmonious syntheses of the Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent. Visit the Art Gallery; drive upto Chamundi hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple that offers a panoramic view of Mysore. On the way back, see the Nandi Bull. Overnight Mysore.

 

Day 04   Mysore  / Orange County - Coorg
After breakfast check out and proceed to Orange County Resort situated in Coorg (3 hrs / 110 Kms).  Check in on arrival and proceed for lunch. Afternoon relax at the resort or visit Coffee plantation. Overnight at the resort.

 

Day 05   Coorg / Hassan
Drive to Hassan.  Visit Belur and Halebid temples.  The Chenna Kesava temple of Belur built 900 years ago is an exquisite example of Hoysala art showing variety of ornamental details and minute delicate carvings on the pillars and panels. Halebid's 12th century Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples are masterpieces of Hindu art.  Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 06   Hassan / Bangalore
After breakfast drive to Bangalore enroute visit Shravanabelagola. 

It's time to bid farewell.  Later transfer to Airport / Station to connect to onward destination.
