Day 01 Chennai
Arrive Chennai, the gateway of South India. You will be met by our
Tour Manager and transferred to the hotel to relax.
Half a day sightseeing of Chennai. Visit Government Museum, Fort
St.George, Fort Museum, St Mary’s Church, San Thome Cathedral,
Kapaleswara temple, drive past the Marina beach and a bit of
shopping, if you are interested.
Overnight at Chennai.

Day 02 Mahablipuram
Breakfast at Hotel.
Full day visit of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Rest of the day
free to relax on the
sunny beach. Ovenight at Mahabalipuram.
Day 03 Pondicherry
Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Pondicherry, the French Town.
Proceed for a sightseeing of Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Paper
Industry, Government Museum, Chunambar Boat House - where
facilities for boating, canoeing are available The backwaters and
luxuriant greenery on both sides of the river provide an idyllic setting
for boating. Later in the evening relax in the beach that runs
along the city.
Day 04 Tanjore
Drive to Tanjore. Later proceed for sightseeing of Big temple,
the
Palace, and the ancient Saraswathi Mahal Library. Overnight at Tanjore.
Day 05 Trichy
Breakfast at Hotel and drive to Trichy. It is a fine blend of
temples and monuments and one of the largest city. Visit the Rock
fort temple and Srirangam temple.
Overnight at Trichy.
Day 06 Madurai
Breakfast at Hotel and proceed to Madurai - a rich cultural heritage
centre.
Full day sightseeing of Madurai. Visit 1000 pillared
Meenakshiamman temple, Tirumalai Nayak’s Palace, Gandhi Museum,
Alagarkoil, Koodal Azhagar temple. Overnight at Madurai.
Day 07 Madurai / Periyar
Breakfast at Hotel.
Drive to Thekkady also known as Periyar (110 kms). Drive thru’ the
dense rubber. Check in to your resort by Noon. Evening game viewing by
the boat in the sanctuary, surrounded by the hills. Wildlife includes
elephants, gaur, wild dogs, otters, freshwater Tortoise and bird species
like heroin, kingfisher, hornbill and fishbowls can be seen here in
their natural habitat. Later visit spice plantations (Coffee & Cardamom)
etc. Overnight at Resort.
Day 08 Periyar / Munnar
After breakfast proceed to Munnar (130 Kms), lover’s paradise. At
altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 metres, Munnar ranks among the most
beautiful hill stations in South Asia.
The
town of munnar stands at the confluence of three mountain streams. The
journey to Munnar takes you through quaint little hill-towns and softly
contoured hill slopes surrounded by plantations of tea, coffee and
spices like cardamom and pepper. The air, fresh and rejuvenating, is
fragrant with the delicate aromas of this spice district. Afternoon
visit tea estate and market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 Munnar
After breakfast visit Majestic mountain peaks, lush green forests,
wildlife sanctuaries and sparkling waterfalls merge to create the unique
magic of Munnar. Among the exotic flora found here, is the Neelakurinji
(Strobilanthus), which blossoms only once every twelve years. The
Nilgiri Tahr, a rare mountain goat, can be spotted on the hillsides of
Rajamala, a few kms from Munnar.

10 Munnar /
Palakkad
Breakfast at Hotel and drive to Palakkad.
Palakkad
is the Gateway to God's Own Country Kerala at the Foot Hills of Western
Ghats and known for Palmyras and Paddy fields.
Stay in a Ayurvedic Resort.
Day 11 Palakkad / Kadappuram
Breakfast at Hotel. Drive and check-in to Kadappuram Beach
Resort.
This resort in Nattika beach is the place
to experience the love of nature. The resort built in traditional
architecture using locally available natural materials, is a village
with its own characteristics spread over 4 acres of golden
sand facing the sea.
Walls using traditional mats and 'Ramacham' roots sandwiched in layers,
blends Ayurveda in architecture. Lakeside restaurant serves the
varieties of organic Kerala kitchen delicacies.
When the twilight
falls entertain yourself with cultural extravaganza of Kerala,
Kathakali, Theyyam, Kalaripayattu, Maappila Pattu, Mohiniyattom, Fokd
Dance etc
Day 12 Kadappuram
Breakfast at Hotel . Hire a Bicycle and explore the near by
villages.
Take a boat ride or an elephant ride. Try out the local drink toddy to
deviate from the usual. Enhance your knowledge of culture and history.
Visit Punnathur elephant camp along with the ancient temples and
monuments, the first Christian church of India at Palayoor built in the
era of Apostle St.Thomas. Shop for the beautiful and useful items
produced by the cottage industries. Watch the Athirappilly-Vazhachal
water falls and exotic beauty of the mountains, etc.
Day 13 Departure Transfer
It is time to
bid farewell!. Transfer to Kozhikode Airport in time
to connect flight to onward destination.
