Day 01 Chennai
Arrive in Chennai, the gateway of South India and rich in its culture.
Visit Kapaleeswarar temple, Santhome Church, Fort Museum and National Art
Gallery.

Day 02 Mahabalipuram
Kanchipuram, one of the sacred 7 cities of India and popularly known as
city of 1000 temples. Visit Kailasanatha Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple,
Varadarajar Temple and Ekambareeswarar Temple. Drive to Mahabalipuram, the
only surviving shore temple of India.
Day 03 Mahabalipuram
It boasts of some of India's most sublime rock cut art comprising of
Arjuna's Penance - the largest open-air bass-relief, Five Rathas,
structured temples, man-made caves Krishna's butter ball and chariots.
Popular belief is that the chariots depict the story of the Pandava
brothers, heroes of the Mahabharata.
Day 04 Pondicherry

Once the French settlement, now home to the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville
or the City of Dawn, an international settlement where community living is
the focus of life. Visit Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville and the beach that
runs along the city. Evening Relax at the beach, which runs along the
city. Pondicherry, is the seat of Yoga.
Day 05 Swamimalai
Visit Chidambaram Natarajar temple known as the seat of cosmic dancer Lord
Shiva as Nataraja, Kumbakonam, a sacred town and is known for its four
large temples dedicated to Sarangapani, Kumbeswarar, Brahma and Nageswarar
and Swamimalai - the shrine of Lord Subramanya on a hillock. He is said to
have initiated his father into Pranava Mathra.
Day 06 Velankanni
Drive to Velankanni And offer prayers to the Mother.
Day 07 Trichy
Half day city tour of Tanjore visiting Brahadeeshwara Temple, Art Gallery
and Palace. Later drive to Trichy. Visit the Srirangam temple and rock
fort temple. Trichy was the citadel of the Chola dynasty in the medieval
period. In the 18th century it witnessed the Carnatic wars fought between
the French and the English. Lord Robert Clive's house is still there to
see and so is the Danish Church. The Rock-Fort is the landmark of Trichy.
A climb of 434 steps leads to the ancient temple of Ganapati on top and a
further climb to a Shiva temple.
Day 08 Madurai
Madurai sightseeing includes visits to Mariamman Teppakulam, Meenakshi
Temple and Nayak Palace. And in the evening witness night ceremony at
Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at Madurai.
Day 09 Madurai
Full day excursion to Rameshwaram. It is considered that an Hindu should
visit this place atleast once in his life time. It is believed that a dip
in the holy well will remove all your karmas. Ramanathaswami temple here
is one of the grandest in the country with magnificent corridors and
massive sculptured lining it.
Day 10 Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari, India's lands end is where the three seas - Arabian Sea,
Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet, and hence the confluence is
called Thriveni Sangamam. The beach itself is a beautiful sight, with
multi-coloured sands and spectacular sunrises and sunsets as the sky and
horizon break into a riot of colour. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial,
Gandhi Mandapam and Temple.
Day 11 Trivandrum
Visit Padmanabhaswamy temple and Suchindram temple. Later proceed for the
sightseeing of Trivandrum covering Napier Museum, Chitra Art Gallery and
Padmanabhapuram Palace.
Day 12 Departure Transfer
Transfer to the airport to connect flight to onward destination
