check in and proceed for buffet lunch. Coffee or Tea will be served at
15.45hrs, drive to forest for wildlife safari. Return to camp at
18.30hrs. Enjoy the tranquil settings of one of the finest Jungle Lodges
in the world. Campfire, Dinner & Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 02 Nagarahole National Park
Morning coffee or tea will be served at 0615hrs. Proceed for wildlife
safari or for coracle ride (local boat ride) return to camp at 09.15hrs.
Breakfast at 10.00hrs leisure. Buffet lunch at 13.45hrs. At 15.45hrs
proceed to forest for wildlife safari and watch hoards of elephants, bison
etc., in their natural pristine surroundings. Return to camp at 18.30hrs.
Witness wildlife film and swap tales with the jungle warden. Dinner &

Day 03 Nagarahole National park / Bangalore
Morning after coffee/tea proceed for Wildlife Safari and Elephant ride at
06.30hrs. Return to camp at 09.15hrs, breakfast, checkout at 11.00hrs and

Morning proceed for Lakkadi, the gateway to Wayanad, situated 700m above
sea level at the crest of the Thamarasseri Ghat pass. Lofty peaks,
gurgling streams and luxuriant forests add magic to the journey - up the
winding roads to this hill station. Visit Pookat lake - a perennial fresh
water lake, nestled among wooded hills - is the only one of its kind in
Kerala. Boating facilities, children's park, handicrafts and spices
emporium and fresh water aquarium are among the tourist facilities
available here. Visit Ambalavayal heritage museum (near Ambukuthi hill)
which houses artifacts and belongings of the various tribes, reputed to be
one of the best heritage museums in Kerala.

Drive to Orange County (250kms/ 5hours), on arrival check in to your

Morning breakfast, proceed for half Day visit to Nisarghadhama, Cauvery
island Bylakuppe, Tibetan settlement, visit Golden Temple and Sera Je
Monastery, etc., return to lodge for lunch. Evening free to explore

Morning breakfast, checkout at 11.00hrs and proceed back to Bangalore.

Pick up from
Allepey finishing point jetty at 11.30 hours. Cruise on the
Pallathuruthy river, Pukaitha river, Pullangady till Champakulam. Sights
at Champakulam - The Champakulam church, which is more than 200 years old,
the Kottaram temple and the famous snake boat – the Champakulam Chundan.
Proceed to Munnattumugham for night stay. Enroute, can stop at Nedumudy to
visit the local market.

Cruise through Mancompu Get down for short walk through Mancompu village
Visit to the Bhagavathy Temple at the village Back to the houseboat.
Proceed to Kavalam via Pulinkunnu and Puthenthodu - a long stretch of a
narrow canal. Rest of the cruise through big rivers with paddy fields on
both sides via Mangalam, E-block, H-Block and R-Block. Night stay at
Cherukali Kayal.

Cruise through C-Block, Kuppapuram and Azhikkal canal Reach Allepey
Finishing Point Jetty at 9.30 hours.
Day 01 Arrive
Kochi / Allepey
On arrival at Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala, you will proceed to
Allepey Boat Jetty Point to board the houseboat. The houseboats are
giant country crafts, measuring upto 80 feet,
which usually has one or two bath rooms, an open lounge, deck, kitchenette
and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide. You will cruise through
the beautiful villages and lush paddy fields witnessing the men at work.
All meals will be served on board. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 02 Kumarakom
Morning disembark the boat at Kumarakom and check into the backwater
resort. Today you can visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Relax at the
waterfront, with the occasional native row boat gliding silently by, and
the air so calm, you can reach out and touch the sky with your finger
tips. You can also enjoy a sunset cruise. If time permits you can
visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight on the backwater resort.

Day 03 Kochi
Departure
After breakfast, check-out the resort and drive to
Kochi. Its time to Bid farewell. Transfer to the Airport to connect
flight to onward destination.
Day 01 Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai - the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the
East India Company, is one of the oldest cities of the country. You will
be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel to relax. In
the afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing of Chennai. Visit
Government Museum, Fort St. George, Fort Museum, St. Mary’s Church,
Santhome Cathedral, Kapaleeswara Temple and drive past Marina Beach.
Day 02 Tirupati
Drive to Tirupati to have Darshan of Lord Balaji. Tirupati is a temple
town known for the famous ancient temple of Lord Venkateswara (Lord of
seven hills or Balaji, as he is affectionately known ) on the top of the
860 mts high Tirumala hills. The temple of Lord Venkateswara is not only
believed to be amongst the oldest temples in the country, but also the
richest of them all. Legend has it that Lord Venkateswara borrowed money
from the divine treasurer Kubera for his wedding expenses. He is still
paying back this debt which is why the pilgrims donate generously to the
temple funds.

Day 03 Chennai Departure
After breakfast drive to Tiruchanoor, also known as
the Alamelumangapuram. The temple of SriPadmavathi Devi, the consort of
Lord Sri Venkateswara is situated here. It is said that visit to Tirumala
will be fruitful only after visiting Padmavathy Devi Temple.
Drive to Chennai Airport to connect fight to onward destination.
Day 01 Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai - the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the

to Mahabalipuram, the only surviving shore temple of India
(a heritage monument) of India is 65 KM south of Chennai, popularly
known as the seven Pagodas, is an ancient rock hewn monument,
monolithic temples and figures with carvings and sculptures of the 6thand
7th century A.D.
Day 02 Chennai
After breakfast
proceed for a half-day sightseeing of Mahabalipuram.
In this ancient seaside town , shrines
and huge sculptures cut-out of rocks more than 1200 years back during the
reign of Pallava Kings in the region can be seen. The rock carvings
depicting mythological episodes - of demons, Gods and animals in battle
and others - are truly poems in stone. The only shore temple which remains
here is the spectacular two - spired shrine, unique because it houses both
Lord Shiva and the Lord Vishnu in its sanctum-sanctorum.

Rest of the day free to relax on the beach. The sun, sand and the sea is at your disposal.
Day 03 Chennai Departure
At Noon check-out and drive to Chennai enroute visit
Dakshina Chitra. Visit the models and replica or traditional houses and
other art-fats of TamilNadu and the rest of South India. Transfer to
Chennai Airport.

Arrive Chennai, the
gateway of South India and one of the four largest cities of India.
On arrival drive to Pondicherry enroute visit Mahabalipuram.

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of
Pondicherry.
Pondicherry town has been divided into two sections Ville Blanche (White Town) and Ville Noire (Black Town). Ville Blanche has been planned in the French fashion. Facing the shore is the statue of Dupleix, behind which is the palace of Dupleix with its centre monument, a copy of the famous Arc du Triomphe in Paris. West of the monument are the Palace du Government with the main buildings, the Government House, the High Court, Secretariat, the Cathedral of Notre Dame des Agnes, the Light House and Public Library. Visit Shri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville.

The main ashram building is on Rue De La Marine and is surrounded by
other buildings given over to the various educational and cultural
activities of the Aurobindo Society.

Drive to Chennai enroute visit Vedhanthangal Bird
Sanctuary.
VEDHANTHANGAL, This famous breeding place has in practice been a sanctuary for over a century and a half. The birds that breed here are the spoonbill, open bill stock, grey heron, Indian darter, and cormorant. On arrival transfer to the Airport.
